What does Pedal Assist mean?
Pedal assist is a mode that provides power only when you are pedaling. The pedal assist mode is also nice because you can focus purely on your pedaling and you do not have to hold the throttle in a certain position.
What is the range of one of our fully charged ebikes?
40-60 miles depending on riders weight, terrain, wind conditions and riding style.
What happens if the battery is running low during a rental?
Two battery levels remaining – we recommend you being within a 10 mile radius of the shop.
One battery level remaining – we recommend you being within a 5 mile radius of the shop.
What does Throttle Mode mean?
When the throttle is engaged the motor provides power and propels you and the bike forward. A throttle allows you to pedal or just kick back and enjoy a “free” ride! up to 20 miles per hour.

Can kids ride ebikes?
No, age limit is 16 + can ride with a parent or guardian.
Are ebikes allowed on the road?
An ebike is just like any other bike and are permitted on roads when a bike lane is not available. We ask you to please use a bike lane when available, follow traffic laws, be safe, and have fun!
How is your ebike fleet maintained?
Tampa Bay eBikes has a daily service inspection to ensure all ebikes are in safe, working order.
Does Tampa Bay ebikes accept cash?
No, we require a credit or debit card for all reservations.
